I love this camera!!! Took it with me to a music festival and the pics turned out perfect! The quality is great. You have to unload them into the app after 27 photos but I like that bc I don't have to constantly be on my phone. All of my friends want one now. 10/10 recommend!
There’s something about this camera that just can’t be replicated by an iPhone or AI program… and that’s truly having something in your hands that allows the perfect Candid memory… no preview, no deleting, no retaking your shot to get the perfect photo. 27 photos might not seem like a lot but I’ve truly learned to appreciate it because it makes you save every spot for a different part of your day to day activities. I actually end up capturing more by having access to less. My Dad took me horse riding last week and the owner of the stables was grinning ear to ear as I asked him to use the camera to take a family photo… he hadn’t used one for over 20 years and you could see this forgotten happiness fill his mind with nostalgic memories… it was a nice feeling to bring that joy to someone else unexpectedly. In today’s age, we need to start spending less time consumed by notifications and social media but that can be hard to achieve when our phones are needed for so many things now… photos, messaging, calling, emailing, internet browsing, entertainment, gaming, work, internet banking… we often pick up our phones and get distracted by a big list of notifications for all of the above then an hour goes by and we never ended up achieving the very task we unlocked our phone for… time is the most valuable thing we have and we’re wasting it everyday, stop getting distracted and live in the moment!

I first got interested in it from content shared by Chinese creators on Xiaohongshu. The Flashback’s simulated film‑camera operation feels really engaging, and I also love its appearance design, especially the two transparent‑shell versions. After receiving the camera, I started enjoying the joy of taking photos.
First of all, it is very lightweight and fits easily into my pocket. When I go out for a walk, I can raise the camera and shoot whenever I spot something interesting. Besides, it offers a rich selection of built‑in filters. My favourite is the Gold mode. What’s more, filters can be changed even after photos have been uploaded, which adds to its playability.
Just like a classic film camera, it does not have a viewfinder. This actually takes the pressure off when I am shooting, and uploading photos to the App is also straightforward.
One minor observation during usage is that the final captured frame tends to be wider than what I expected, and sometimes the resulting photos come out tilted. There is, however, one bigger drawback. Like many other users, I have run into hardware‑failure troubles. It would be fantastic if there were an official online store in China to make after‑sales support more accessible.
Overall, I would still love to keep using Flashback to take many more photos in the future.
